March for Science Prize Drawing for Alternative Transportation Users

Denver March for Science supports the wise use of resources and the protection of our environment. We know many of our supporters feel the same way. What could be a better time to put our sentiments into action than at the 2018 March for Science?

Drawing for Prizes

To encourage attending our event on April 14, 2018 at Civic Center Park using alternative forms of transportation, Denver March for Science will have free drawings for prizes. Stop by a volunteer table to register. Show your RTD ticket or bike helmet or just affirm that you arrived by walking, bike, ride sharing, bus or light rail (honor system).

Vehicle parking in the area, especially free parking, is limited anyway. Below are a few better options.

Walking and Biking

Civic Center Park is centrally located in downtown Denver. You want to get some exercise on the 14th anyway, don’t you?  Bike corrals will be available.

The Regional Transportation District provides service to downtown Denver from most of the metro area. The D, F, H and L light rail lines all have stops within a few blocks of Civic Center Park. RTD provides bus service to downtown Denver from much of the metro area. Buses and light rail lines that stop at Union Station will get you close to Civic Center Park as well – you can take the free Mall Shuttle across downtown to within a few blocks of the event.

Please visit the RTD website for schedules, fares and other info.
